I do the same thing, except I don't lure them to the left. Maybe that would have been easier.

For future reference I think a good way of doing the ground spin is getting him dizzy by reflecting the single cannonballs, then once that occurs just mash the hell out of the a button.

To answer Richler's question, after receiving the vial shoot Milos, then when it is converted into a bomb, give it to the worm before he can give you the key. Walk into the terminal waiting room, and you will be shot by a robot, and the medal will be yours.
